What is Rock Steady Boxing?

We are learning every day that there are ways in which people with Parkinson’s disease can enhance their daily quality of life.
By exercising with coaches in your corner, you can fight this opponent and start to feel and function better. RSB is a non-contact boxing & fitness inspired program dedicated to helping people who are diagnosed with all levels of Parkinson’s. These innovative classes are getting amazing results, even slowing down the progression of the disease. We send a message of hope and motivation to our boxers. They may not win titles or trophies, but they are all champions in the Rock Steady Boxing Ring.

What is Rock Steady Boxing Class?

Rock Steady Boxing Bergen County classes will help build strength, flexibility, balance, agility and overall health and fitness. A fitness class designed to help anyone suffering from Parkinson's disease. It's not only boxing but also eye-hand co-ordination training. By exercising with Coaches who know the ropes, you can fight your way out of the corner and start to feel and function better. Boxing works by moving your body in all planes of motion while continuously changing the routine as you progress through the workout. These classes have proven that anyone, at any level of Parkinson’s, can actually lessen their symptoms and lead a healthier/happier life.

Monthly Membership

With membership you can come to as many classes as you can and as you like. We offer 5 classes per week. This is a great option for most people, and is a great opportunity to be part of a really fun and supportive group of people.

Personal Training

The benefit of personal training is not only the individual attention but the fact that personal training sessions can be scheduled just about any day and any time that suits your needs. This is a great option for people that may struggle with the group setting, or someone who is very high functioning and wants a more challenging workout.

Boot Camp

Boot  camp is 1 day / week higher level group training session that focuses on overall fitness, but does not incorporate any boxing aspect.
